Ladipo Market Traders Mourn Former President, Chief Innocent Ejike

Traders and members of the Ladipo International Market Association have been thrown into mourning following the death of the founder and first president of market union, known as Ladipo Central Executive Auto Dealers Association ( LCEADA), Chief Innocent Ejike, in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that late Chief Ejike had stroke and was rushed to LUTH, where he eventually died due to complications of the ailment.
The news of the demise of Chief Ejike, also known as Akpata Ndigbo in Mushin, has thrown the traders into shock because he was said to be hale and hearty and was attending market union’s meetings before he fell sick and was rushed to the hospital, where he eventually died.
The corpse has been flown to his home town, Ekwulobia, Aguata LG of Anambra State and deposited at mortuary waiting for the family to announce his burial date.
The late Ejike will be remembered for his contributions for the development of Ladipo Market especially the main market and Aguiyi Ironsi International Market and indeed the entire market.
The traders noted his tremendous contributions in the entire market sphere and gave him the chieftaincy title “Akpata Zachara Ama” in Ladipo Market.
He was a successful businessman and used his wealth to touch the lives of many people especially the less privileged in the society.
The President General of the market, Prince Africans Ogudoro, described his death as shocking to the entire market because there was no reports that he was sick before he died recently.
He explained that the association is ready to give him a befitting burial because he was one of the members of the BOT of the market once the family announces the date.
Meanwhile, the market union has opened a condolence register for the late business mogul, late Chief Ejike, at the Secretariat at 186 Ladipo Street, Papa Ajao, Mushin, Lagos.
Chief Ejike was married with children.
