Lady Bites Off Rival’s Finger During Public Brawl

A 35-year old lady, Oluwatoyin Onifade has been arrested for allegedly biting off her female rival’s finger during a fight in their compound in Lagos.

The incident happened at Alasalatu Street, off Isolo Road in Mushin area of Lagos where they resided.

The victim, Kudirat Oladapo suffered her fate after she engaged the suspect in exchange of words that later led to both of them engaging in a public fight. The cause of the fight was not disclosed by both of them, but according to their neighbours, they were friends before their quarrel started sometime ago and they have refused to say what the cause was.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that on the day the incident happened, the women had exchange of words and later started fighting. In the course of fight Onifade drew Oladapo’s finger to her mouth, cut if off with her teeth and vomited it on the ground.

The victim was bled profusely and was rushed to a hospital where she was told that the finger cannot be fixed back again and she should bury it.

The matter was reported to the police at Olosun Division, Onifade was arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for serious assault.

She pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr. R. Oluseye granted Onifade bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 23 January, 2018.
