The operatives of Intelligence Response Team, IRT, SouthWest Zone, have declared a suspected female kidnapper and armed robber, Gift Ezenwa, wanted and her surety had been arrested to pay N250m bond for failing to produce her.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the lady, Gift, was arrested by the IRT over her alleged involvement in kidnapping and robbery especially in South West.

She was said to have been tracked by a crack team led by Supol Columbus Aniozor and detained for investigation.
However, one Kalu Ukoha, went to the IRT and insisted that the lady, Gift, was genuine and entered into a bond of N250m while asking the Police to release her to him with the promise to produce her whenever she is needed by the Police.

It was gathered that when the suspect, Gift, was released on bail, she knew that the IRT had strong evidence against her including properties she reportedly bought through proceeds of kidnapping and robbery, the lady escaped to an unknown place up till now.

When the Police needed the suspect, Gift, they asked Ukoha to produce her but he explained to the Police that he did not know her where about as the lady had disconnected from him and he cannot trace her.
The Police then asked him to pay the N250m bond he had entered since he could not produce the suspect but he said he had no such money to pay. He was then arrested by the Police and later charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for aiding the escape of the suspect, Gift and show why he will not forfeit the bond money to Lagos State Government.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Barrister Nosa Watson Uhumwangho, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.
Thus, Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. C.O. Emeka Opara, granted him bail in the sum of N10m with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 16th September, 2019.
However, Ukoha was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
