Lagos Fire Service Director, Rasaki Musibau, Six Others Regain Freedom

The Lagos Fire Service Director, Rasaki Musibau and six others, who were reportedly abducted by kidnappers have been released after some days.

The victims were said to have been abducted in the Ejirin area of Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area of Lagos State on Saturday.

According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, he said that the director and six others who were kidnapped on 6th March, 2019 at about 8.00pm, at Ketu-Ereyun, Ikorodu were released unhurt at about 11:45pm on Tuesday night.

DSP Elkana hinted that the director and the other victims have since been reunited with their families. He also said that the Command’s Tactical teams were still in the creeks and forests combating the hoodlums and that water-tight security measures have been put in place across the State to forestall future occurrence.
