Lagos Public Works Swings Into Action, Begins Road Repairs Across The State.

Few days after Engr. Daramola Olufemi Olubunmi was appointed as the General Manager of Lagos State Public Works Corporation, the department has swung into action repairing roads across the metropolitan Lagos State.

The corporation, according to P.M.EXPRESS’ finding has been fixing a good numbers of road to ease movement of people and solve problem of traffic jams across the state.

The Lagos State Public Works Corporation took to its social media handles to announce the roads that its staff have been working on in the last few days. Interestingly, repairs are also being done in the night to ensure that the works are finished at a good time.

The road repair works include regulation with Boulders on Ejigbo junction inward Synagogue, Oshodi Isolo, patching of potholes on Ilupeju Avenue, Ilupeju by pass, Mushin, patching of potholes on Officers Mess inward Bonny Camp, Victoria Island, patching of potholes on Ozumba Mbadiwe road, by Akin Adesola, Victoria Island, setting of Paving Stones on Ikorodu road by Ojota axis, patching of potholes on Alfred Rewane road, Ikoyi and patching and overlaying with Asphalt on CMD road, Ikosi Ketu.

Others are repair of Idimu Isheri round about, Alimosho, patching of Potholes on Ahmadu Bello way, Federal palace hotel axis, Victoria Island, repair of failed Asphaltic surface on Alimosho Road in Alimosho, repair of Eluku street in Ikorodu, asphalt maintenance work on Cooper Avenue, Ikoyi and asphalt maintenance work on Alhaji Alagago road, Ikorodu.

The corporation, however, enjoined other residents of Lagos living where road repair works have not get to their areas to exercise patience as effort is ongoing to mobilise all resources to make sure that roads in the metropolis are motorable.

“Road repairs have commenced across the State. Be patient, we will get to you,” the corporation said.
