The burial ceremony of Ma Fanny Igali, the mother of respected diplomat, author, scholar and the Chairman of Council and Pro Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali, earlier scheduled to take place this week, has been postponed to 24th and 25th November, 2022.
P.M.EXPRESS had reported that Ma Fanny Igali passed on peacefully without any illness and totally unexpected on Thursday 28th July, 2022, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, at the age of 84 years.
Making public the postponement, Ambassador Igali said, “I thank you all very much for the support and empathy since Mama passed on. Due to the slow receding of the flood and the cutting of the East West Road at moment, we have postponed the date of funeral obsequies to 24th and 25th of November”.
“I deeply regret the terrible disruptions this will cause and may advise that you don’t really stress yourself.”
“Please remember us and all of Bayelsa in prayers and also inform our friends of this development. God bless you really good.”
