The remains of the respected clergyman and lawyer, Msgr. Nathaniel C. Obiagba, have been laid to rest at the Cathedral Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha, Anambra State.
Msgr. Obiagba was lowered to his final resting place after a requiem mass officiated by Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Okeke, the Archbishop of Onitsha Archdiocese on Monday 5th October, 2020.

While commenting on the life of the respected Monsignor, Archbishop Okeke said, “We thank God for the gift of our brother, Msgr. Nathaniel C. Obiagba and prayerfully handing him over to God for eternal reward. We pray that our prayers and the Holy Mass today, will speed his entry into Heaven”.

“Msgr. was the first Priest Lawyer to be so empowered and allowed to practice in the West African Sub-region. He was also the first lawyer to the Archdiocese and he did that work with dedication, relish, joy and with total sacrifice until the last day he breathed his last.”

“Msgr. Obiagba was a friend to the young, the old, the learned and the simple. We pray God to embrace him with His Fatherly love, to forgive him whatever he could have done wrongly due to human imperfection and admit him in the Kingdom of His Glory.”
