With 43 days to go, Nigerian Ambassador to Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, His Excellency, Musa Ilu Mohammed says the Embassy is looking forward to welcoming Nigerian participants to the forthcoming Nigerian Swedish International Agricultural Trade Fair.

The fair, the maiden edition, will hold in Brahegatan 11, Gamlestaden, Sweden from 29 -30 October, 2019. The trade fair is being organised in partnership with the Nigerian Embassy in Sweden, Fesco Agalu Nigeria Limited, organiser of Agritech Nigeria, a leading international agro technology exhibition and conference in Africa and some other Sweden- based government agencies and private companies.

The Ambassador said that the event is a platform to foster relationship between Nigeria, the most populous black nation in the world -Africa’s largest economy and Sweden, which is one of the advanced economies in Europe.

According to him, Nigerian participants would benefit from the trade fair because it is a platform where Nigerians will have the opportunity to interface with Swedish business community and other nations in Europe.

The organiser, the Nigerian Swedish Trade Fair (NSTF) Group,  headed by Ms. Mary Brakner, is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization established with roots in Africa – Nigeria.

NSTF Group facilitates empowerment of the smallholder farmers in Africa to increase their productivity and hence play a major role in combating the global food insecurity problem.
