Nlemchukwu Godswill Onyedikachi Named Mayor Of NAPES UNIZIK

An inspiring youth leader and an undergraduate in the Department of Parasitology and Entomology, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nlemchukwu Godswill Onyedikachi has gained high recognition amongst his mates within the campus.
Nlemchukwu, who started off like every other students, has made outstanding achievements in his department and become a major contributor to academic excellence of some other students in his department.
Following his numerous and notable achievements couple with his continuous excellence in his field of study relating to academic disciplines; the leadership of the National Association of Parasitology and Entomology Students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University deem it necessary to award Nlemchukwu the mayorial title of his department (Mayor of NAPES).
According to the NAPES leaders, bestowing the Mayor title –which is the highest ranking in the department leadership– on Nlemchukwu is deserving as he made significant contributions, sponsoring and financing some academic and social activities within the department.
Speaking on the award, Nlemchukwu said the NAPES honour came to him as a big surprise as he least expected it.
He then assured the leadership of NAPES and the entire Department of his determination to fulfill the mandate as the Mayor and not betray the faith, the powers and responsibilities handed to him to influence major decision-making in his department.
Indeed, Nlemchukwu played his role as the Mayor of NAPES very effective till he graduated. He showed a great commitment and responsibility to the general welfare of NAPES, UNIZIK.
With his involvement in key policy making role by recommending policies to the leadership council of his department, breaking tie vote and vetoing legislation.
