NLRC Condemns Cyber Hack On BetNaija, Assures Nigerians Of Secured Gaming Operations

The management of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) has condemned the cyber hack on the operations of KC Gaming Networks Limited, popularly called Bet9ja.

P.M. EXPRESS reports that Bet9ja, one of the leading sports betting operators in Nigeria, recently suffered cyber-attacks on its operations.

While condemning the criminal act of the hackers, the NLRC said though the nefarious act of the hackers would only affect the operations of the company temporarily as effort is in top gear to return normalcy to the business by BetNaija with close watch by the NLRC

The statement from the NLRC made available to P.M. EXPRESS reads: “The management of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission is using this medium to inform the general public that it is aware that KC Gaming Networks Limited (Bet9ja), one of the leading Sports
Betting operators in Nigeria, recently suffered cyber-attacks on its
operations.

“Furthermore, the NLRC is not unmindful of the challenges posed by this ugly situation to the Nigerian gaming public.

“However, we gladly state that Bet9ja is already on top of the matter, and normalcy will return to their business operations.
