Odunmbaku Mourns Death Of GAC Member, Kemi Nelson

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Hon David Olusegun Odunmbaku, has mourned the death of a member of Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson, who died on Sunday at the age of 66.

Odunmbaku, in a statement by his media aide, Jumu’ah Abiodun, said Nelson died when her leadership role needed most.

“I was heartbroken when I heard the news of her death. This is when her leadership role is needed most. She brought joy, happiness and laughter to all who met her; A affectionate person, full of life. I pray that her soul rest in peace. We will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always,” He said in a tribute message.

He prayed God to give strength to the bereaved family and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Late Kemi Nelson served as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader (Southwest) and recently as the Executive Director of Operations at the Nigerian Insurance Social Trust Fund (NSTIF).
