Ogene Igbo Commends Gov Soludo On Ambitious Plans To Develop Ogbunike Cave

The President of Association of Digital Media Core Advocates, ADMCA and DG Anambra Independent Media Support Organization, Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris (Ogene Igbo), has commended the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo CFR, over his ambitious plan to develop Ogbunike cave.
It will be recalled that the culture and traditions advocate, Ogene Igbo, has over the years engaged in concerted advocacy for the development of the Ogbunike cave right from Mr. Peter Obi’s administration through Willie Obiano’s time. Obiano as the Governor years ago had visited the cave and promised to turn it to a world class tourist site but nothing happened.
Ogene Igbo, while commending Gov Soludo on Tuesday evening said, “I was happy when I heard my performing Governor today in Orumba area unveil an ambitious plan for the development of Owerre-Ezukalla Waterfall & Cave and the Ogbunike Cave”.
“I can also recollect vividly that Gov Soludo sometime during the Anambra New Yam festival promised to give the Ogbunike cave the attention it deserves.”
“Gov Soludo is the third Anambra Governor to talk about making Ogbunike Cave a tourist destination. Going by what we are seeing him do with the Solution Funcity and other landmark projects, this time we are hopeful that his administration will turn things around at the cave. I therefore, commend my Governor for the ambitious plan for the development of the Ogbunike cave. It can only get better in Anambra” Ogene Igbo concluded.
