Ogun CP, PPRO & PCRC Bags International Awards

The Commissioner of Police Ogun State Police Command alongside the Command’s Public Relations Officer as well as the Chairman Police Community Relations Committee PCRC, were given awards by Africa Security Watch during the just concluded 15th Conference of the Organisation in the far away Republic of The Gambia.

The Commissioner of Police was given a Golden Star Award as the Most Innovative Crime Buster (Commissioner of Police) in the whole of West Africa while the PPRO, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, was awarded as the Best PPRO in Nigeria. The Chairman PCRC Ogun State, Alhaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, won the Golden Star Award as the Best Security Support Organisation in West Africa.

The event which took place at Labranda Koral Beach Hotel in Banjul, has in attendance important dignitaries across the continent of Africa. Notable amongst them are the Ghanaian former Chief of Defense Staff, General Joseph Nunoo Mensah (Rtd), The Gambia Inspector.
