Osinbajo To Honour APC National Students Conference

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth and Student Council will hold their first National Student’s Conference in Abuja.
The conference is expected to hold on 18th February, 2022, at the Women Development Centre, FCT, Abuja.
During the conference several issues including gender inclusiveness in politics and greater role for students in governance will be discussed.
This information is contained in a statement signed by All Progressives Congress Youth and Student Council Director General, Mazi Ezenwa Onyirimba.
According to the statement, the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, would be the Special Guest of Honour and will officially declare the conference open.
Also in another statement issued by Amb. Seyi Bamigbade Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee, APC National Student’s Conference, 2022, he said the Conference will be a voice uniting the students for greater purpose under APC.
He disclosed that the theme of the conference is EDUCATE, ENGAGE AND EQUIP. The conference is being spearheaded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth and Student Council.
During the conference, the National Youth Leader of APC, Hon. Barr. Ismaeel Ahmed, is expected to be a Guest Speaker and will share his experience as a top government functionary and Youth Representative in the National Caretaker Committee of the party.
However, over 1,000 Student Representatives drawn from the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory are expected to attend the conference.
The participants are expected to brainstorm on how to strengthen Students political rights, address barriers to students participation in the political process under democratic systems and evolve strategies for getting them fully involved.
Leaders from the three tiers of government in the country and some prominent business owners and captains of industry have confirmed participation in the Conference.
They will make presentations focusing on inspiring and propelling Students to greater successful forays into politics, governance and leadership roles in businesses.
