Osodieme Uchenna Mary Nnose Laid To Rest Amid Tears And Eulogies

The wife of astute and widely traveled businessman, Prince Dr Egbunike Nnose, Osodieme Uchenna Mary Nnose (Nee Ofoegbunam), has been laid to rest.
Osodieme, who passed on few weeks ago after a very brief ill health aged 52 years, was laid to rest on Thursday 12th June, 2025, at her husband’s residence, Mmiata Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The highly loved and respected Osodieme began her final journey on 31st May, 2025, with a wake held in her honour at the Ogundele Primary School field, off Assoland Street, Mafoluku Oshodi, Lagos State. The wake, which attracted a huge crowd of sympathizers, was a testament to her good disposition as many testified very positively about her life and time with them.
Osodieme’s burial rites continued on Wednesday 11th June, 2025, with a well attended Service of Songs, which took place at her residence, Obi Ofu, Mmiata Anam.
On Thursday, 12th June, 2025, Osodieme’s remains were moved from the morgue for a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Mmiata Anam. The Requiem Mass, which drew a huge crowd, had a good number of priests who are members of AHOBA 85 C-Set and mates of Prince Dr Egbunike Nnose in attendance including other members from far and wide ably led by the PG, Sir Sebastian Ezeonyia.
After the Mass, Osodieme was laid to rest amid tears at Prince Dr Egbunike Nnose’s compound, Umundeze Mmiata Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.
As at the time of filing this report, entertainment of guests and visits by in-laws were still on while the Thanksgiving Mass is expected to take place on Sunday 15th June, 2025, to round up Osodieme’s funeral rites.
