History was made among Nigerian women at the weekend in Lagos when the Standup for Women Society held its first-ever National Conference and Summit at the Novatel Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

The Conference which was attended by members of the organisation from most states of the federation was a huge success. An elated National President of the organisation Barrister Deborah Ijadele-Adetona described the turnout of her members and invited guests for the conference as a development that Nigerian women are indeed ready to take their rights serious by standing with their women folk.

As usual, P.M. EXPRESS presents photo news from the final day of the summit which saw some distinguished Nigerians being given awards, also some outstanding members of the organisation were also recognised meritoriously.
