After addressing the United Nations Stop TB Partnership board meeting in New York City, United States on Monday, wife of Nigerian President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari met with the First Lady of the United states, Mrs. Michelle Obama.

In a Twitter message, Mrs. Buhari stated, “It was a pleasure meeting @FLOTUS Michelle Obama earlier this evening at her broadway event about girl empowerment.”

The two women held a brief talk.

During the #endTB board meeting, Mrs. Buhari stresses need for political commitment to end the TB scourge.
