Posted on December 24, 2021

Refined Youngsters, a group of young people under Gleaming Etiquette and Poise Academy, is set to hold a virtual hangout for children between the ages of five and fifteen.

The event is scheduled to hold on the Zoom platform on Tuesday, 28 December, 2021 at 12pm West African time with the registration link https://surveyheart.com/form/6119229fad75767f61a675b5

Speaking about the event, the founder of Gleaming Etiquette and Poise Academy, Oluwaseun Olorunjuwon, noted that “in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven society, decline in parental authority and domestic values, media influence, materialism, poverty, collapse of discipline in schools and homes, teaching children Etiquette and manners have become more crucial than ever.

“One of the most important jobs we have as parents is to help our children develop social skills, show them how to interact in a polite manner with people, and teach them to treat others with respect.

“Whether the occasion is a holiday gathering, a family meal, or a simple trip to the grocery store, parents can use these social opportunities to instill good manners in their children so that it will become a habitual part of their lives into adolescence and beyond”, Olorunjuwon said.

According to Olorunjuwon, the Christmas Hangout, a free event, is one of the ways Etiquette and Poise Academy is making the Christmas holidays eventful for youngsters, as it will not just be about festivities but another opportunity to learn and be equipped with life skills.
