Some residents who spoke with our correspondent praised the effort of Federal SARS, Iju Base, for their gallantry since they were deployed to the area, adding that normalcy has returned to the area.

Speaking with our correspondent Mr. Sunday Adeyemi, a welder in the area, said that in the past residents walk with fear as the hoodlums always attacked residents with impunity and they do not go out once it is 7pm.

“We really thank men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Iju Base, for their effort in curbing the activities of the robbers and hoodlums in our area because before now when it is 7pm you can’t go out of your house as they attacked residents as they liked and no one dared challenge them. But now with the arrival of FSARS, the area is now calm and peaceful.”

Another resident, Mr. Amos Alade, in his reaction said he was happy that things are now going on well since FSARS has restored peace in the area.

“I am happy that things are now better because if you look at what this area used to be; we can’t go out once it is 7pm but FSARS Iju base has given us reason to be happy as they have chased away the criminals in our area.”
