Sanwo-Olu, Akran Of Badagry, Others To Attend United African Methodist Church’s 79th Annual Conference

The 79th Annual Conference of the United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Worldwide comes up in Badagry, Lagos State from Sunday, January 26 to Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
The theme of this year’s Conference is: “Humble Submission To The Will Of God” – James 4: 10
According to the General Secretary (Administration), Chief Bukola Payne, over 2, 000 delegates from churches under the Mission in Nigeria and Republic of Benin are expected to attend this year’s Conference.
He said the secretariat of the organization would move to Badagry on Thursday, January 23 while other officers are expected to arrive on Saturday, January 25.
The Special Guest of Honour at the Conference will be the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu while the Royal Father of the conference will be His Royal Majesty, De Wheno Aholu Menu Toyi I (JP), The Akran of Badagry Kingdom.
Highlight of the Conference will be the consecration of new Bishops for the Organisation as well as commissioning and elevation of other ministers on Sunday, January 26.
The Conference proper will hold on Monday, January 27 while, the Women Fellowship will close the Conference on Tuesday, January 28 with its meeting.
