Soludo’s Akwete Revolution Gains Momentum As PDP Governors Adorn The Locally Made Fabric In Their Meeting In Abia

The revolution of patronising our locally made fabrics and products which Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra State, spearheaded has started yielding dividends.

In their ongoing PDP Governors’ meeting in Abia State, all the Governors, who were at the meeting, were seen all cladded in the locally-woven Akwaete.

 All the Governors were looking splendid as they stepped out from their meeting wearing neatly woven Akwaete clothes. 

Governor Soludo has been largely credited with the promotion and marketing of the Akwaete fabrics. In his recent interview with Arise TV, Soludo asserted that his promotion of the local fabric has shot up the demand for it. 

This assertion has been proved right with the PDP Governors who stepped out fully cladded in the locally made fabric today.

 The 13 Governor’s of the PDP were H.E Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, H.E Godwin Obaseki, H.E Ifeanyi Okowa, H.E Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, H.E Nyesom Wike, H.E Samuel Ortom, H.E Seyi Makinde, H.E Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
