Suspected Cult Hitman, Kill-Fisher Arrested Alongside Colleague With Live Ammunition

Police operatives from the Commissioner of Police Tactical Team, Ijora, Lagos have arrested a 28-year old suspected cult hitman, Olushola Olamilekan Ayomide ‘M’ aka “Kill-fisher” and his colleague, Ifesanya Abiodun Olajuwon, 29, for being in possession of five live ammunition.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspects were arrested on 4th May, 2025, at Maroko area, Lekki – Ajah Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos where they had with them Four(4) 5.56mm live ammunition for Lar rifle without any legal backing or authority.
According to the Police, they were initially arrested as suspected armed robbers but they denied and confessed that they were members of the Supreme Eiye Confraternity, which is proscribed by law as unlawful society .
However, while they admitted to belonging to the cult, they were unable to explain what they were doing with live ammunition found in their possession.
The Police found them culpable for being in possession of the ammunition and belonging to an illegal cult and consequently charged them before the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charges read:
“That you, Ifesanya Abiodun Olajuwon ‘M’, Olushola Olamilekan Ayomide ‘M’ aka “Kill-fisher” and others now at large on the 4th day of May, 2025 at about 1645hrs (4:45pm) at Maroko area, Lekki – Ajah Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire amongst yourselves to commit felony to wit: Membership of Unlawful Society, Unlawful possession of Four(4) 5.56mm live ammunition and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
COUNT 2: “That you, Ifesanya Abiodun Olajuwon ‘M’ and others now at large on the Same date, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district, did unlawfully have in your possession Four(4) 5.56mm live ammunition for Lar rifle without any legal backing or authority and when questioned, you could not give any satisfactory account on how you came about the ammunition and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 4 88 and punishable under Section 27(1)(b)(ii)(iii) of the firearms Act Cap F28, Vol.6, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2010.”
COUNT 3: “That you, Olushola Olamilekan Ayomide ‘M’ aka “Kill-fisher” and others now at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district, did belong to a secret cult group called Supreme Eiye Confraternity which is proscribed by law as unlawful society and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 2(3)(a)(b)(c) (d) of the unlawful societies prohibition and cultism Laws of Lagos State, 2021.”
However, they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Olatunde Kehinde, asked the Court to give a date for hearing and refer the matter to DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. F.M.Kayode-Alamu, ordered their remand in custody at the correctional center pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of DPP’s advice to be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
