The leadership of Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria and Orashi National Congress have aptly responded to the unfounded allegations by Ahoada East Political Renaissance while reacting on the vote of no confidence which the two groups passed on Hon Solomon Bob, the Federal lawmaker representing their area.
In a statement on Saturday, they said, “We, the Southern Youth Foundation (SYF) and Orashi National Congress (ONC), under the leadership of Comrade Emeni Ibe, President of both organizations, have noted with concern the recent press statement released by the Ahoada East Political Renaissance regarding the recent recent vote of no confidence passed on Hon. Solomon Bob, Member of the Federal House of Representatives”.
“The Ahoada East Political Renaissance attempted to discredit our organizations and the concerns we raised regarding equitable empowerment and representation within the constituency. We stand by our earlier statements and reiterate the need for transparency and fairness in all governmental processes.”
“Our organizations are not “amorphous” or “one-man briefcase groups,” as wrongly asserted. We represent legitimate voices of concerned citizens within the constituency, and our primary goal is to ensure accountability and inclusivity in governance.”
“As the President of the Southern Youth Foundation (SYF) and Orashi National Congress (ONC), I, Comrade Emeni Ibe, affirm that the vote of no confidence passed on Hon. Solomon Bob, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, stands firm. Our concerns regarding equitable empowerment and representation within the constituency remain unresolved, necessitating our continued stance.”
“Despite attempts by certain groups to discredit our organizations and mischaracterize our motives, we stand resolute in advocating for accountability and fairness in governance.”
“It is imperative to emphasize that the vote of no confidence is not a decision taken lightly but reflects genuine concerns echoed by constituents across the constituency.”
“We urge Hon. Solomon Bob to heed these concerns and take immediate and meaningful actions to address the issues raised. Failure to do so will compel us to take further steps and actions to ensure that the interests and welfare of our constituents are prioritized and adequately represented”
Comrade Emeni Ibe concluded on behalf of Southern Youth Foundation (SYF) and Orashi National Congress (ONC).
