There’s Need For More Deliberate Policies To Encourage Women’s Participation & Gender Equality In Governance Institutions, Says Amb. Onyeagba 

The Head of the Nigerian Diplomatic Mission in the Republic of Burundi, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba PhD, has described women as great vessels of inestimable value in society’s transformational quest.

Speaking on this year’s United Nations’ International Women’s Day celebration themed “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, His Excellency Amb. Elijah Onyeagba called for conscious efforts by relevant stakeholders in the society to formulate deliberate policies which will improve and motivate more female participation in governance. 
Accordling to him  “Women are great vessels of inestimable value. It is time we have a society with gender equality, so that all can contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow”.

He went forward to praise the efforts of many great achievers in the women folks who, despite the glaring inequality in opportunities, privileges and support have defied all odds to arrive in the corridors of excellence, hard work and diligence; promising them that posterity will be very kind to them.
