The National Coordinator of Ndigbo Media Forum, Rev. Paul Eze, has stated that the developmental footprints of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will compel Ndigbo to vote for him in 2027 for a second tenure.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Rev.Eze stated this in Lagos during an interaction with the press.
The NMF Coordinator warned members of the public to be mindful of fake and dubious people parading themselves as members of the Ohanaeze group, who claimed that some South East governors and Northern leaders are ganging up against Tinubu’s second term.
He stated that the shameless group also adopted Tinubu for a second tenure under the aegis of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
Eze, in his reaction, described them as clowns, butt of jokes, mockery and derision all over. He warned the public to be mindful of their deceitful contrivance.
“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide remains one and the current National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide is Senator John Mbata. Any other person is an impostor, and should be treated as a criminal” Eze said.
Eze further explained that the current Ohanaeze President Worldwide according to Ohanaeze Constitution has no powers to adopt any candidate talkless of making it public like those jobless criminals. He also noted that Ohanaeze is not a political party but a sociocultural organization therefore, can not delve into partisan politics.
In his final submission, the NMF Coordinator advised the impostors to thread with caution noting that President Tinubu is not as gullible as they are.
“Tinubu is one of the best, smart and intelligent politicians Nigeria ever produced. He understands the rudiments of politics and he knows that politics is about interest, give and take.”
He said unequivocally that what determines whether the South East will work for Tinubu come 2027, will be his developmental footprints in the zone before the 2027 election.
Rev. Eze said that the problem of the Igbo man is not just to have their own in Aso Rock; instead it is who will bring meaningful supposed, neglected Federal development to the zone.
