Three top class Ezendigbo in Lagos State have confirmed Eze Agbawodikeizu Nwalozie as the Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo in the State as declared by the Igbo Speaking Community’s BOT led by their Chairman, Dr Jonathan Nnaji.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the three Ndieze, Eze Lawrence Nnamdi of Alimosho, Eze Peter Asonye of Ibeju Lekki and Eze Christopher Ozuoeme of Itire – Ikate Mushin, paid homage to Eze Nwalozie at Obi Ukwu Ndigbo palace in Ikeja, Lagos and declared their support to him as Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State.

The visit may have finally resolved the issue of who is the authentic Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos following the false claims by some Ndieze, who formed a parallel group not recognized by the BOT of Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos State.

The visit was confirmed by Eze Lawrence Eze and Eze Asonye, who stated that they paid the courtesy visit to Eze Nwalozie in recognition of him being the Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State and show support for his leadership.

During the visit, Eze Lawrence, Eze Asonye and Eze Ozuoeme poured libations in line with the Igbo tradition and prayed for Eze Nwalozie against those who are working against his leadership as Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State.
Those in the entourage to the palace of Nwalozie included the Director, Ruzu Herbal Products, Dr Robert Uzu, the coordinator Igbo Ruo Uno initiative and many cabinet chiefs of Ndieze in Lagos State including Igbo men and women.
The visit was in line with the declaration of the BOT Chairman, Dr Nnaji, who stated that the only recognized Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State by the Igbo Speaking community is the one led by Eze Nwalozie.

Since the BOT made the declaration, some of the Ndieze, who were misled, have realized that they were actually following a pseudo Council of Ndieze created by Chief Sunday Udeh, which was not recognized by the BOT as many have started retracing their steps to join the mainstream Council of Ezendigbo led by Eze Nwalozie.
Meanwhile, the BOT Chairman, Dr Nnaji, has congratulated Eze Nwalozie over his 60th birthday anniversary, which was marked on 26th August, 2024, at his palace just a day the top Ndieze visited him.
