It was a black Sunday for the traffic management agency in Lagos as one of the officials was crushed to death by a trailer in the Apapa area of the state.

The victim, identified as Arogundade Remilekun, a female officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), was on active duty in the area on Sunday morning when the ugly incident took place.

According to eye witness report, the victim, Remilekun, while trying to manage traffic around the area did not notice the presence of a trailer that was trying to reverse. The driver of the trailer, who obviously might not be aware of her presence, crushed to her to death while reversing and she was not looking back.

The late Remilekun was said to be from the Apapa Zone 36 Station Base of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA).
She was said to have died right on the spot and her remains was immediately evacuated from the scene of the tragedy in a truck.
