Visionscape Group Partners Nigeria’s First Financial Times Summit

Visionscape Group has announced its participation as a gold sponsor and exhibitor at the first ever Financial Times summit in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday, May 31, in Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos. 

The theme of the summit, ‘Dispelling Uncertainty and Building Resilience’ will feature talks of high-ranking representatives of the government and captains of industry.

Director, Visionscape International Holdings, Adeniyi Makanjuola will sit in a one-on-one with David Pilling, Africa Editor, Financial Times discussing the transition to the green economy and how the Group is championing green growth across Africa.

Also, John Irvine, CEO, Visionscape Sanitation Solutions will participate in a panel discussion that shines a spotlight on how infrastructure in waste management is pivotal as a building block of diversification.

Speaking on the environmental utility group’s participation in the first outing of the summit to be staged in West Africa, Motunrayo Elias, Head Corporate Communications, Visionscape Group iterated that the Visionscape Group is proud to be supporting the Financial Times Summit.

The event will focus on how Nigeria can diversify from oil dependency, deliver long-term inclusive growth and realize its ambition to become Africa’s economic powerhouse.”
Presented by the London based world’s leading news organisation, Financial Times Live, the Financial Times Nigeria summit is organised to shine a light on Nigeria’s complex economic and investment climate.

The event is expected to host 300 attendees from around the world, bringing together senior policy-makers, international investors and corporations, and multilateral organisations to put forward realistic solutions to facilitated investment in Nigeria.
