Pastor Oyebola Oluwakemi, founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Ogo Oloruntan in Owode, Ogun State, who was arrested for allegedly for having sexual intercourse with his biological daughter for five years, has finally confessed and explained why he did so.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Pastor Oluwakemi, who impregnated his daughter and aborted it on three separate occasions, explained that his wife died, he was unable to remarry and he started sleeping with his daughter when she was 19.
Pastor Oluwakemi, who is a member of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in the community, was paraded by the Ogun State Police Command. The Pastor, who confessed to the incestuous act, opened up that the act took place for those years and he eventually made her undertake family planning procedure in order to prevent further pregnancy.
When the daughter, who is now 24 years, could not bear it any longer, she reported her dad to an NGO which in turn took over the matter by petitioning the Police and Pastor Oluwakemi was arrested and detained for interrogation.
The nurse, who carried out the family planning and abortion on the lady denied having the knowledge that the lady was the Pastor’s daughter. She said the man simply identified himself as Mr. James and told her that the lady was his wife’s maid.
During investigation, it was discovered that the Pastor had lost his wife and since then insisted that his first daughter should be sleeping with him in the same bedroom while his other children slept in separate rooms.
The Pastor pleaded for forgiveness citing the devil as the cause and threatened to commit suicide if permitted. He also pleaded with his daughter and all Nigerians to forgive him.
According to his daughter, the father always beat her and shout at her whenever she refused to give in to his sexual demands. His Church has been shut down while the members of the community expressed shock over the sad development.
The Police confirmed that Pastor Oluwakemi will be charged to Court after concluding the investigations.
He risks life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty of the alleged offence before the Court in the State.
