Woman Breaks Rival’s Head With Iron In Public Brawl

44-year old woman, Grace Chiedo may have finally settle her scores with her female rival, Favour Eze after she used an iron and broke her head in a public brawl.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ajala Street, in Egan area of Alimosho Local Government Area, Lagos State where both the victim and suspect resided.

It was gathered that Grace and Favour were friends before their relationship broke up and they became sworn enemies. Their neighbours were said to have tried to settle their rift to no avail because both parties were not prepared for settlement.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that on the day the incident happened, Grace and Favour exchanged hot abusive words which resulted into a serious fight in the public.
It was in the process that Grace took a piece of hard iron and broke Favour’s head and hand. The fight ended suddenly as Favour bled profusely and was rushed to a hospital where she was treated.

The matter was reported to the police, Grace was arrested and later charged before Ejigbo Magistrates court for assault.

She pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni granted Grace bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The prosecutor, Inspector G Simon did not object her bail as the offence was bailable.

She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 2 May, 2018.
