Zonal Commander, Zone H (Lagos & Ogun State) Of The NDLEA Assumes Duty

With the restructuring and the reorganisation of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency by The Chairman/Chief Executive, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) OFR, recently by creating Zonal Commands across the Country, the Zonal Commander, Zone H, Mr. Oke Olusegun Kolawole, Assistat Commander General of Narcotics (ACGN) has reported and assumed duty.

He reported to the Zonal Command Headquarters Ikoyi on Friday 26th November, 2021 at about 12.30 pm.

On his arrival he was received by the State Commander, Lagos State Command, Barr. Callys Alumona (CN) and his management team.

Before his appointment and redeployment to Zone H, he was the State Commander NDLEA Bauchi State Command.

Mr. Oke was one of the pioneer senior officers of the Agency, who started his career at the very beginning after the establishment and formation of the Agency in 1990. Since then he has been holding positions of authority at different formations and at different capacities.

Among which are:

1. An officer in charge of cargo operations in NARCO cargo wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA).

2. Instructor at the Agency Academy Jos.

3. Commandant of the NDLEA Academy Jos.

4. State Commander, Kwara, Oyo, Osun and Bauchi State Command respectively to mentioned but just a few.

Mr. Oke is well travelled and had attended many International courses in the UK, USA, Singapore, Thailand, Isreal and South Africa.

He obtained his Bsc and Msc in Political Science from the University of Lagos and a PhD, in view (International Relations) University of Abuja.

He hails from Ihunbo Idi-Iroko, Ipokia in Ogun State, happily married with Children and Grand Children.
