All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha, Anambra State, has once again proven its commitment to academic excellence as 53 out of 58 registered candidates recorded nine distinctions (A1-B3) in the recently released West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results. The rest of the candidates recorded at least 7 distinctions and credits with a minimum of C5.
The best candidate, Emmanuel Adimorah recorded 8A1s and 1B2.
The seminary, known for its holistic approach to education, continues to set a high standard, combining academics, morality, and spirituality to produce well-rounded individuals with a strong drive for excellence. This latest achievement demonstrates the school’s ongoing tradition of nurturing excellence since its inception.
As the seminary gears up for its Centenary Anniversary on November 1, this remarkable WAEC performance adds another significant milestone to its illustrious history. The upcoming celebration will now be even more meaningful as the seminary community reflects on a century of educational success and spiritual growth.
Rev. Fr. Paschal Okonkwo, the Rector of All Hallows Seminary, expressed his gratitude during an interview with Trinitas.
“I thank God for the success we recorded and our formators and teachers for their collaborative spirits. I also wish to thank our students for soldiering on to achieve such tremendous results,” he said.
The outstanding results from All Hallows Seminary are part of a broader pattern of academic success within Onitsha Archdiocesan schools. Similar achievements across these institutions highlight the significant impact of Archbishop Valerian Okeke, who has fostered a culture of excellence throughout the archdiocese. The Archbishop’s efforts have clearly borne fruit, as evidenced by the consistent academic triumphs in Onitsha archdiocesan’s Catholic schools.
As All Hallows Seminary prepares to celebrate its centenary, this academic victory serves as a source of immense pride and joy, further cementing the seminary’s reputation as a pillar of educational and spiritual excellence.
