Pastor Harrison Charles Arrested By Agunechemba Operatives

Pastor Harrison Charles, founder of Day Spring Assembly in Awada, Onitsha, Anambra State, has been arrested by operatives of Agunechemba following a viral video containing allegations against him, according to statements from authorities.

Authorities said Pastor Charles is currently being investigated by the Police in collaboration with the Anambra State Government.

During the arrest by Agunechemba, a security outfit operating in Anambra State, about eleven children were found in his home, according to officials. Pastor Charles reportedly stated that he is the father of the eleven children and that they are from eleven of his wives. He also reportedly said he does not know the number of wives he has married or the total number of children he has.

As at the time of publication, no charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

While investigations continue, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Security, Mr. Ken Emeakayi, has urged anyone with additional information to report it to the State Government via 08034182108, according to an official statement.
