ONC Welcomes Gov. Fubara To Orashi, Calls For Massive Reception

The Orashi National Congress, ONC, has welcomed the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, to the Orashi Region for the inauguration of key infrastructure projects, and called on residents to turn out in large numbers to receive him.
In a statement signed by the President General of the ONC, Ambassador Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, the Congress described the Governor’s visit as a significant milestone for the Orashi Region and proof of the State Government’s commitment to infrastructure and healthcare delivery.
Governor Fubara is scheduled to inaugurate the Elele–Omudioga–Egbeda–Ikiri– Omoku Road on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and the Zonal Hospital, Omoku, on Friday, August 21, 2026.
Ambassador Ibe said the projects represent another clear demonstration of the Rivers State Government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and healthcare services across the state.
“The commissioning of these projects is another significant milestone in the development of the Orashi Region,” he stated.
The ONC President General urged the people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Abua/Odual Local Government Areas to come out en masse to welcome the Governor and his entourage.
He called on residents to demonstrate their appreciation for the Governor’s developmental strides, stressing that the road and hospital projects will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of the people and on the economic growth of the region.
Ambassador Ibe also called for peace, unity and orderly conduct throughout the Governor’s visit, while assuring His Excellency of the continued support and cooperation of the people of the Orashi Region.
