Children’s Day: OYO SUBEB Chairman Felicitates With Pupils

The Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, has felicitated with pupils in the state, as they celebrate children’s day, today. 

 

Dr. Adeniran, in a statement he signed in Ibadan, stressed that children, both in public and private schools deserve the best form of education, as they are the most vital asset of the State.

 

Adeniran said the Oyo State government has put in place deliberate policies to encourage basic education for children especially in the face of the global economic meltdown.

He noted that “our sweat for our children today is a promise for a better tomorrow”.

Dr. Adeniran, an educationist, added that stakeholders must of necessity invest in children to reap the benefits of a rapid national growth.

He wished Nigerian children especially pupils in public basic schools across the state, a rewarding celebration.

The Chairman prayed, “May the innocence and promise of our children fill our homes and hearts with happiness and fond memories to cherish forever”.
