Gov Obiano Commissions Transformer At Zone 13 Police Headquarters

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie M. Obiano, represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Public Utilities and Water Resources, Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne, Thursday, 19th August, 2021 at Zone 13 Police Headquarters in Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA, commissioned a 300KVA Transformer procured by Chief Sir Joseph Ezeokafor, Chairman/CEO, JEZCO Group of companies and installed by the EEDC.

Governor Obiano, in his remarks, said the Government has distributed over 730 transformers to communities, groups and corporate organizations to boost power supply in the state.

He noted that his administration’s huge investments in the power sector were some of the efforts in ensuring  the security of lives and property in the state which culminated into making Anambra an investment destination.

He appreciated Chief JJ Ezeokafor for the gesture while calling on other well-meaning individuals to emulate him and assist Government in developing the state.

Furthermore, the Governor commended the Nigerian Police Force for partnering the state in the fight against crimes and criminality and the protection of lives and property of ndi Anambra and residents.
