A sex-starved housewife, Mrs. Amina Muhammed, has filed a suit against her husband, Salisu Mohammed, before the Customary Court in Nyanya, Abuja, for allegedly denying her sex for the past five years and secretly getting married to two other women.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the embattled Mrs. Amina, who resides in Mararaba, Abuja, made the allegations in a divorce petition she filed against her husband, Salisu.
An embittered Mrs. Amina alleged that her husband, Salisu, secretly got married to other wives and rented apartments for them in different locations in Abuja, while leaving her in Mararaba without sex for several years.
She lamented that she has been traumatized in the marriage to the extent that her husband abandoned her without touching her as his wife and she wants to move on with her life in peace.
Apart from denying her marriage vows, she said her husband had been threatening to divorce her and forcefully evict her from her matrimonial home and she wants the Court to dissolved the marriage because she is no longer in love with him.
Amina begged the Court to grant her divorce, claiming that her life and that of her children were no longer safe.
“I beg this honourable Court to grant me divorce and custody of my children because my husband is threatening me and boasting to forcefully evict me from the home if I don’t leave peacefully,” she said.
However,  the respondent, Salisu who was present in the Court, denied the allegations and did not state his side of the story before the Court adjourned.
The Judge, Doocivir Yawe, adjourned the matter till 31st October, 2022, for continuation of hearing.
