In a bold step towards bridging the digital divide and empowering the next generation, Ojodu LCDA has extended its innovative Digital Skills Programme to Okeira and Ojodu Primary Schools 1,2,3 benefiting 1,697 pupils.

This expansion underscores Ojodu LCDA’s commitment to enhancing education and providing students with the essential skills needed in today’s digital world.

The Digital Skills Programme, initiated by Ojodu LCDA in conjunction with TCK, aims to equip pupils with foundational knowledge and practical experience in various digital tools and technologies. By integrating this curriculum into the learning environment of the seven primary schools within the LCDA, the council ensures that young learners are well-prepared to navigate and excel in an increasingly digital society.

During the training programme at the primary schools, the Supervisor For Education, Hon Dayo Olarenwaju expressed his enthusiasm for the programme’s expansion across schools. “We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and forward-thinking educational system.

“By extending our Digital Skills Programme to Okeira Primary School and the three Ojodu Primary Schools 1,2,3, we are taking significant steps to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop essential digital skills that will serve them well into the future,” he stated.
