Orashi National Congress Visits Chief Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich

Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has affirmed their solidarity during a courtesy visit to Chief Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich JP, Egberipapa of Niger Delta and National Leader, Rivers Grassroots Movement, RGM.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the respected group paid the visit on Wednesday 13th August, 2025, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In his speech during the visit, the ONC President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe said, “On behalf of the good people of Orashi Region in Rivers State which comprises Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State, we extend our best wishes to you on this historic occasion of our visit to your office. On behalf of the executive council and the entire membership of the congress, the delegation have come to familiarize ourselves with you and to commend you on the good work you have been doing in the state through the various platforms towards promoting good governance and promotion of democratic dividend to the people”.

“We appreciates your commitment in the area of promotion of peace, restoration of democratic institutions in the state, this is a vote of confidence on your good office.”

“We lack words to express the profound gratitude of our people but all we can say is a big thank you and you can rest assured of our continued cooperation and we welcome the Rivers Grassroots Movement (RGM).”

1. Campaign against cultism and promotion of industrial harmony

In his remarks, respected High Chief Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich thanked the ONC for the visit. He promised to partner with the group and equally support their noble initiatives.

Having been invited as the Special Guest of Honour, High Chief Jackrich also assured that he will honour the ONC with his presence in their forthcoming Peace and Security Summit. He commended the group for their strides in ensuring peace, development and security of the Niger Delta region.
