Sales Attendant Docked After His Charms Planted To Steal Company’s Money Failed

A 22-year old sales attendant, Kogbekeloye Peter has landed in trouble after he reportedly planted a native charms in the company he works for so that it will enable him to steal money without the owner knowing in Lagos.

The incident happened at the office of the company, Able God Ventures, located at Ogunmola street, Mao Kola area in Alagbado in the outskirts of Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the charms seemed to have initially worked for Peter before it later failed him.

By the time the owner of the company, Olawunmi Temidayo discovered the hidden charms, the suspect had already stolen over N200,000 entrust in his care.

Peter was not only arrested and charged for planting the charms, he was also charged with stealing and has been remanded in prison custody.

Our correspondent gathered that Peter was employed as sales attendant and was entrusted with the company’s products and money.

However, few days of his resumption for work, he allegedly went and procure the fetish substance and secretly planted the charms inside the office which enabled him to steal the money until he was found out.

He was handed over to the police at Alagbado division where he confessed that he actually kept the charms not to kill the owner of the company, but to aide him to steal the company’s money.

He was charged before Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged offence and he pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs G.O. Anifowoshe granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Peter was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.

The matter was adjourned till 24 May 2017.
