United Arab Emirates-based Nigerian blogger, Ahmed Salkida, who was declared wanted along with two others -Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wakil-by the Nigerian Army over Boko Haram’s latest video, has been arrested.

Salkida, wanted for supposedly knowing more about Boko Haram operations and the whereabouts of over 200 Chibok girls, was arrested Monday by the security operatives at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard Emirates flight EK 785.

Salkida, the journalist known for his access to the top commanders of the deadly sect, was picked up on arrival.

A passenger seated next to the journalist during the trip informed the media that Salkida was looking nervous during the flight.

Earlier, the Nigerian Army declared Salkida and two other Bolori and Aisha Wakil wanted because of their alleged link with the terror group, Boko Haram.
